Had a great time playing the Pescadero Country Store in Pescadero CA. They have a lovely garden and picnic area setup for bbq. The store has live music in the garden every weekend for the summertime, and it’s always a pleasure to play there. Lot’s of families. My favorite requests were “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Wheels on the Bus”. Those ones were big hits with the younger crowd.
I noticed there were a lot of inter-racial couples and families. I thought that was awesome. It makes me happy to see people getting together and finding love despite different cultural backgrounds. 🙂
Father’s day was awesome. My dad flew in from a week-long trip to Nashville. For the first time ever I got to pick him up from the airport! I thought that was kind of special.
One of these days I’ll get myself down to the South and check out the famous “Music Row”!
